It's very interesting to know how much water falls in the seasons. These are the results of Belgium:

Lente: 173 mm season    = 1,9  l / m^2 a day

Zomer: 220 mm/season  = 2,4 l / m^2 a day

Herfst: 208 mm/season   = 2,3 l / m^2 a day

Winter: 191 mm/season  = 2,1 l / m^2 a day

With this information we can calculate how long it would take to fill our water storage system
